Movie Night: "When In Rome (2010)"

What I love about Sunday, Star Movies Asia always come up with new movie...and tonight, "When In Rome" is on!! Perfect gloomy weather, homemade cooking, and perfect romantic-comedy movie ;).

"When In Rome" starring Kristen Bell, and Josh Duhamel. Basically it's a light romantic movie with predictable ending...but still charming, and cute to enjoy on sunday night when you don't feel like 'digesting' heavy plot-line kinda movie...haha, thats soooo me :P

This is the Trailer...

Movie Night: "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra" (2009)

Tonight I'm in a mood for some action flick, and thankfully HBO played a good action movie...yay!! ;)

I never watched this movie before, because when this movie came out...one of my girls told me that the movie was not very good...So, yeah I never watched it, I bought the dvd but never really watching it...beside, I'm not a big fan of action-blood splatter-war movies (they give me nightmares...errrr)

So, yes I'm watching this movie for the first time and thinking this is actually pretty good...It's mild-action with sci-fi touch (3D stuffs and all).
My Favorite character in this movie would be The black ninja guy "Snake Eyes", actually he's kinda sexy all wrapped up in black latex and holding a sword! hahaha...

Well, overall the movie is a good watch and entertaining. Interesting characters and just enough amounts of action to watch it with the whole family :). Happy watching guys, until next time!! xoxo

Kiki ;)

Movie Night: "Beauty and The Beast" (1991)

This movie beats any disney princesses movies that I've ever watched...this is my all times favorite. I have watched this movie more than 15 times (I am DEAD serious! LOL ;D) since watching it for the first time when I was 9 years old and I still watching it until now and never feel bored. I still cried watching it and it still gives me the chills and butterflies...hahaha ;P. I always had a crush on 'Beast' because he looked all mean and vicious but yet so vulnerable and gentle...(maybe that is why I always fell for a bad guy, even when it never worked?! hehehe)

There's a little girl inside every grown up women...dreaming on our own prince charming and live happily ever after. It may only happened in a movie, or once in a blue moon...but DREAM BIG, Ladies...and Never stop dreaming :)

Love,
Kiki ;)

Saturday Nite Movie: "American Gigolo (1980)"

OMG!!! what could've been better than a saturday nite ending by a classic Hollywood with 'young' Richard Gere playing Classy Gigolo on HBO??

I watched this movie before (and this time is my second times)...Richard Gere playing Julian, a High class male escort/ Gigolo. The Drama begin when he starts a relationship to one of his client, that later known as the Local politician's wife...and the rest of the story, bet you all know :).

In this movie, I can not stop telling to myself (yes, I often talking to myself, weird I know Ha!) that Richard Gere was once a very HOT man...he was prolly 30 sumtin when the movie was made, and I wasn't even born when the movie was made!! lol. Him looking all sexy and dapper in suits and good hair too...Oh I'm soooo gonna have a sweet sweet dream tonight, haha ;P

Love,
kiki ;)

Saturday Nite Movie: "Loving Leah" (2009)

I actually watched this movie once on Hallmark, and It's kinda sweet movie. It's basically a romantic movie about Jake Lever, a cardiologist and an unobservant Jewish bachelor who feels compelled to marry his observant rabbi brother's widow, Leah to honor him via the ancient Jewish custom of yibbum (levirate marriage).

Jake and Leah agree, but Jake doesn't want to go through with it after seeing a necklace his brother gave him (before he left home to become a rabbi) reminds him of how much he idolized his big brother. He pulls Leah aside and tells her that he doesn't want to deny his brother's existence. After deciding that she also wants to leave her mother's home, become independent, and start college, Leah agrees to move with him to Washington. Things are rocky as Jake is constantly busy with work at the hospital, his girlfriend Carol has little patience for his new "wife", and Leah adjusts to finding her way around a new city. But eventually, true love persists, and the two find that the greatest gift Benjamin has left them is each other.

All over, this movie is cute...it's basically about two opposite attracts, and it can be happens anytime...while some of us still waiting for our "opposites"...let's just enjoy the movie, teehehe ;P
