Saturday Movie: "Closer" (2004)

My saturday movie goes to one of my favorites movie I ever watched. I always been a fan of twisted love stories, unpredictable story and sad ending...because I'm a cry-baby for a movie, always does...always have, Love it!

This movie basically has it all...good plot, good actors, and it kinda took your emotions to the next level (well, I do :))...You can read here for the synopsis, but you can just skip it if you don't want any spoiler :)

This is the Trailer if you wondering...Happy Watching! ;)

Saturday Nite Movie: "American Gigolo (1980)"

OMG!!! what could've been better than a saturday nite ending by a classic Hollywood with 'young' Richard Gere playing Classy Gigolo on HBO??

I watched this movie before (and this time is my second times)...Richard Gere playing Julian, a High class male escort/ Gigolo. The Drama begin when he starts a relationship to one of his client, that later known as the Local politician's wife...and the rest of the story, bet you all know :).

In this movie, I can not stop telling to myself (yes, I often talking to myself, weird I know Ha!) that Richard Gere was once a very HOT man...he was prolly 30 sumtin when the movie was made, and I wasn't even born when the movie was made!! lol. Him looking all sexy and dapper in suits and good hair too...Oh I'm soooo gonna have a sweet sweet dream tonight, haha ;P

Love,
kiki ;)

Saturday Nite Movie: "Loving Leah" (2009)

I actually watched this movie once on Hallmark, and It's kinda sweet movie. It's basically a romantic movie about Jake Lever, a cardiologist and an unobservant Jewish bachelor who feels compelled to marry his observant rabbi brother's widow, Leah to honor him via the ancient Jewish custom of yibbum (levirate marriage).

Jake and Leah agree, but Jake doesn't want to go through with it after seeing a necklace his brother gave him (before he left home to become a rabbi) reminds him of how much he idolized his big brother. He pulls Leah aside and tells her that he doesn't want to deny his brother's existence. After deciding that she also wants to leave her mother's home, become independent, and start college, Leah agrees to move with him to Washington. Things are rocky as Jake is constantly busy with work at the hospital, his girlfriend Carol has little patience for his new "wife", and Leah adjusts to finding her way around a new city. But eventually, true love persists, and the two find that the greatest gift Benjamin has left them is each other.

All over, this movie is cute...it's basically about two opposite attracts, and it can be happens anytime...while some of us still waiting for our "opposites"...let's just enjoy the movie, teehehe ;P

xo,
