The Battle of Make up Foundations...

This probably my biggest 'drama' lately...All these times I've been always in search of the perfect foundations for my type of skin (acne-prone, and sensitive type of skin). If you're a working woman, you know how hard it is to find the perfect make-up foundation that stays for 9hrs or more!

I've tried sooo many different products over the years and still haven't found the one that I actually fell in love with!...seriously, I am more cautious about finding the perfect make-up foundation than a perfect boyfriend...lol ;D

Anyhow, thanks to 'Youtube' make-up girls whose giving me some insight on few different products, I might going to try some of them..

1. Calvin Klein Infinite Matte-Oil free

I heard about this product from the magazine, and when I watched some videos on Youtube, some girls swore by this product! and this one retails for around US$32 or Rp. 320,000,-.

2. Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-place SPF 10

I've tried this foundation long time ago when I was in my last year of college. This one actually WORKED for my type of skin! it really gives me the perfect cover just what I needed, I can wear it 'light' or 'fully makeup'. It lasts for quite sometimes too. This one retails for US$34 (on their website) but they sell it for Rp. 400,000,- (around US$40) in Indonesia counter for some reasons (tax, and all that).

3. Estee Lauder Double Wear Light Stay-in-place SPF 10

This one right here is recommended by one of my girl, she tried this product for sometimes and swore by it!. this one is the same "Estee Lauder Double Wear" as the one at the above, but this is the 'lighter' version...meaning, this goes natural for everyday using when you feel like not putting so much make-up on.
This one retails for US$33,50 (on the website) and Rp. 350,000,- (or US$34) in Indonesia counter.

4. Make Up Forever HD Foundation

I've tried MUFE (Make Up Forever) products before (Compact powder, blush on, etc) but I hate 'em all. The compact powder was too cakey, I can feel my skin 'screaaming' can't breath. But reading the review of this product, I might gonna re-consider about buying :). This one retail for US$40 on the website or Rp. 400,000,- (I haven't sure how much this on the counter here)

5. Chanel Mat Lumiere
The thing about Chanel makeup products, I once used their compact powder and it was great, I'm loving their matte lipstick, and eyeshadows. Never tried this one before, but watching this one girl on you tube that crazy about this product. I don't know how much the exact price for this one, I heard it's about US$50 or sumtin. This Probably a good product to try too, considering the 'matte' result.

There are my TOP 5 foundation that I would like to try, I haven't decided which one, right now I'm still using my Laura Mercier tinted mosturizer, and It didn't cover my face too well...It's good for daily make-up but for work, I need better coverage and something matte and less touch up...hehehe

The art of letting go...

The only way to learn forgiveness is to be betrayed.
You might understand the intellectual concept of forgiveness, but you will only learn how to truly forgive when someone has done something that requires you to love them and let it go...
Life demands these hurtful experiences for you to learn how forgiveness feels, it could be no other way...
If there is anyone in your life that you must forgive, instead of seeing them as someone who has hurt you, try to see them as someone who was sent to teach you forgiveness and thank them for this precious gift - then forgive them, and let it go... :)

Pre-Fall Nails...

Today I'm taking a whole day off from work to pamper myself...I was planning on getting a hot stone massage, but then I got up at 8 and watching Anderson Cooper 360 (I LOVE his show...I adored him, hehe) 'till 10am and decided to cleaning up my room until 12...and there goes my hot stone massage appointment...

So then I was thinking to do some grocery shopping, and stuffs...but then I ended at nails salon (O.P.I House), I was about to change my nail polishes only (since I just had my spas last week), but then the girl at the nail salon said "why not doing the mani-pedi spa before the holiday?"...(I was always an easy mark/ people pleaser) so I was like "...ummm yeah let's do this"...and there goes my un-planned mani-pedi spa (with the costs of full body hot stone massage!! that wud be around U$70) *next time I should come on Mon or Thurs when they have 25% off!*

So...yeah, apart from that, I'm loving my hands 'n toes colors! this time I chose different colors, since I cannot decided which colors to choose from, so I picked both for my hands and toes...(what an explanations!! haaha!)

1. O.P.I "Glitzerland" (the Swiss Collection)
- I've been into metallics for nail colors lately...it's pre-fall, and O.P.I just launched their newest Collection (the Swiss Collection)...I'm loving all of 'em but I'm loving the color "Glitzerland" at the first try...It's gold-ish and metallic! I feel like a million dollar...hahaaa

2. O.P.I "Radiance" (the Designer Series)
- This color is dope! It's metallic silver color...and not like any other 'Silver'-ish color that looked like they were more 'grey'-ish than silver, this one is screaming 'SILVER' to the next level...(I'm kinda addicted to nail polishes, teehehe :p). So, yeah at first I wanna do the 'matchy-matchy' hands and toes nail colors, but I wanna do it differently, so this one goes for my toes,,,and it looked flashy!! especially when I'm wearing cute flip flops or open toe shoes...wud be dashing!! (owkieeee...I'm talking too much!)

That was it...my nails are gold and my toes are silver...one of my girlfriend's already calling me "a walking christmas tree"...but hey, at least I have my spirit with me and felt like a million bucks!! woohooooo...
